The new song #Sigham_Olinw (I carpeted my heart for you) tends to express the result of the grief experienced by a young man from a small village in southeast of Morocco. The young man could not bear the fact that his lover decided to marry another. However, the girl is still in love with him but she is afraid of the judgment of society and afraid to stay without bein married and being available all her life, so she has chosen to get it. Usually whoever can feed a family has always the advantage of getting married easily. And for him as a young man it is a difficult thing because of his precarious standard of living.
By the way the tittle of the song “sigham olinw” means giving a person you love your heart as a bed where can rest up and sleep in peace ,feeling loved and completely safe .

Lyrics translated by Mustapha Ait Lahssaine (English)
Your light didn't go away, you're much better than a medicine
There's no trust, you'd rather go
I carpeted my heart for you, you're much better than a medicine
You want to go away, you'd rather go
You tattooed your hand with henna, and put the bride's cover on your head, didn't you?
There's no trust, you'd rather go
I carpeted my heart for you, you're much better than a medicine
You want to go away, you'd rather go
Your love died in my heart, and I covered it with soil
There's no way to go back until I am burried underground
I carpeted my heart for you, you're much better than a medicine
You want to go away, you'd rather go
You'd rather go
You'd rather go
You'd rather go
You'd rather go
